Ciao!

My name is Simone, and I am an Italian science communicator specializing in mathematics and quantitative sciences in general. I like to work in the sweet intersection between creativity and rigor, bringing abstract concepts to life through visual or narrative techniques. I help research groups disseminate their work, design visuals for campaigns and social media, lead workshops in science communication, and collaborate with publishing houses.

I have been experimenting with interactive games and narratives for both education and dissemination purposes. If you have any cool ideas on combining mathematics with some medium nobody else has tried before, let me know!

✷ I was part of the 2024-2025 cohort of the Postgraduate Certificate in Science Communication Franco Prattico at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), in Trieste.

✷ Between 2021 and 2025, I was a PhD student at the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster. I defended my thesis in April 2025, under the supervision of Martin Hils and Franziska Jahnke.
