👋 Ciao! My name is Simone and I am an Italian mathematician and occasional storyteller. By day, I am a third-year PhD student at the Institute for Logic of the University of Münster, under the supervision of Martin Hils and Franziska Jahnke. I am also one of the spokepersons of the Mathematics Münster Graduate School.
Transformal valued fields: my main research interest is the model theory of valued fields endowed with compatible endomorphisms, especially in the case where it is not surjective. For example, I like thinking about whether or not their theories are relatively complete with respect to value difference group and residue difference field.
Definable henselian valuations: I am interested in characterizing the existance of non-trivial definable henselian valuations on (non-separably closed) fields. This is a joint project with Margarete Ketelsen and Piotr Szewczyk.
Model theory and algebra: more broadly, I am interested in the interactions between model theory and algebra, and possible applications.
